Where am I allowed to go on the boat?
On the Intra-Coastal Waterway, we ask that you stay within the limits of the two bridges. Don't go past the Georgetown Bridge (Unless you are going to the restaurants in Georgetown to eat) and Don't go past the Socastee Swing Bridge.
In the Inlet, you must stay inside the jetties inside the Inlet. You may not go out into the ocean.
Where do I park?
For Wacca Wache waterway reservation we ask that you text your last name to 843-882-5210 as you are approaching the marina and we will meet you at the electric gate to swipe you into the parking area.
If you are at our Inlet Location, please park across the street from Dead Dog Saloon and take the pathway that goes between the dead dog saloon and the claw house to the marshwalk then go left and look for our boats down on the dock.
Is there a place to eat around your location?
Yes! Deck 383 is located right at Wacca Wache Marina. They have great lunch and dinner options ( closed on Mondays) It is a great place to go after your boat rental as they have a new gorgeous outdoor seating area under a moss-laden oak tree. Sit and enjoy your meal as you watch the boats cruise along the Waccamaw River. Their sunsets are to die for!
At our Inlet location, we highly recommend Dead Dog Saloon and The Claw House Restaurants located on The Marshwalk.
Is Fuel included in the price?
Wacca Wache Rentals: No fuel is not included it is priced separately.
Dead Dog Saloon rentals: Yes fuel is included in the price.
Do I need a boat license to rent a boat?
South Carolina requires a valid drivers license from your state.
We require that you have the skill and expertise to safely drive the boat.
What is the minimum age requirement to rent a boat?
You need to be at least 25 years old with a valid drivers license to rent a boat.
Can we rent multiple boats for our event?
Yes! We would be happy to help you with your upcoming event! Give us a call or send an email to discuss.
What if I accidentally damage your equipment while renting?
Please discuss with your safety instructor before leaving the dock if you are concerned about causing any damages to the vessel. Safety is our #1 priority. We inspect all of our equipment in the morning, in between rentals and again at the end of the day. If equipment is damaged by our customers, they are responsible for the repair.

What methods of payment do you take?

Is tipping required?
Tipping is not required, but is certainly appreciated. The Crew will be working very hard for your safety and enjoyment. If they do a good job, a tip or gratuity is customary.
Am I going to get wet?
Most likely. You will be playing on the water and could get splashed. I would always prepare to get wet, just in case.
Do you have a changing room or bathroom on site?
There is a restroom at Wacca Wache Marina as well as a potta-potty available to all Marina customers. At our Inlet location, there is a bathroom inside Dead Dog Saloon.
How can I work at Beach House Boat Rentals?
It looks like a lot of fun, and it is, but it is also a ton of hard work. If you think you can hang, contact Tommy at 843-882-5210
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand, things happen! In the event you need to cancel or reschedule please read below:
Boats: Minimum of 48 hours prior to departure, otherwise payment is non-refundable.
All refunds will be returned via method of payment. Credit Card refunds may take 3-5 business days to receive funds back. You will receive an email confirmation for the refund.
Please keep in mind: Once you leave our dock, you are responsible for your good time! So have fun! Unfortunately, once you have left our dock you are ineligible for a refund.
What if I am late?
Anyone more than 30 minutes late to a reservation will be canceled with no refund. We understand that traffic can be an issue, so please allow enough time to travel. If you know you are going to be late please give us a call as our employees are preparing your boat for your day and waiting on your arrival.
Arriving on time is crucial to keeping everyone's else's reservations for the day on schedule. Please be considerate of others reservation times and plan ahead. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your reservation so we can check you in and go over brief safety instructions. If you need to do anything to prep for your activity (sunscreen, bathroom, unloading car, drinks, etc.) please be sure to manage enough time prior to your reservation as we always try to depart right at your scheduled time.
What if I am a no-show?
No shows will be cancelled with no refund. No shows will be charged the full rental amount, as it is prohibiting other customers from renting the boat. Sorry, no exceptions.
What happens if it rains?
Our number one priority is your safety. In the event of thunderstorms at your departure time, you will have the option to reschedule your activity or receive a refund. If you are already on a water vessel and it begins to rain while you are out, we can not refund your payment. We are happy to reschedule the remaining part of your time, if scheduling permits. If you are concerned about weather being an issue, please check in advance before making your reservation.
What happens if I bring the boat rental back late?
Fees may apply for tardiness. Depending on that day's schedule, fees may apply. There will be a $100 fee per hour that you are late. Please know that we aim to make everyone's experience an incredible one. By returning the boats late, be aware you may be holding up other reservations that have also planned to go out after you. Please be respectful of everyone's good time!
Can I bring my pets on your boats?
Pets are only allowed on our Bentley 244 pontoon, the Express Jon Boats, and Carolina Skiff center console. If you wish to bring your dog with you, please rent one of those boats.
Can I operate the boat at night if I rent for multiple days?
No. You can operate the boat from dawn until dusk only.
My friends are staying down the river, can I pick them up on the boat?
No. Everyone that rides/uses our rental equipment has to check in with with our staff at the marina. Everyone must be present for the safety tips we discuss in our brief guideline speech.
What is your capacity on a boat?
We have several different boats in different sizes to accommodate your party. Yes, babies and children are apart of the passenger headcount.
Do your boats have shade from the sun?
They are all equipped with retractable Bimini tops that cover 1/3rd to 1/2 of the boats.
Is there a cooler or ice on the Boats?
Our Bentley 250 Part Cruise pontoon and the stingray 192sc have built in coolers. All other boats do not. There is ice available for purchase at the marina. We also offer a cooler rental with 20lbs of ice for $18
Can I fish on the boats?
Fishing is allowed on the Avalon Pontoons, Carolina Skiff and stingray 216cc center consoles, as well as the express jon boats, and Bentley 244 only. Please be sure to book one of these boats if you are looking to fish. The fishing in the Intra-coastal Waterway is great! Just be sure to bring your own fishing gear.
Can we drink alcohol on the boats?
The same laws apply to drinking and driving in a vehicle as a boating vessel. Passengers 21+ may enjoy a few alcoholic beverages but please use caution.
